My teaching philosophy has always revolved around loving the music as you learn it. My first question to a student will always be, "What do you want to learn?" Some people want to sing blues, others want to sing Beyonce. Some people want to play Bach, others want to play The Beatles. Some people simply want to learn how it all works. Whatever you want to learn, that's what I will teach.
